who is gisella?
Gisella is a New York based makeup artist and hair stylist who specializes in bridal and fashion makeup.
As a creative child, Gisella loved to design fashion with makeup looks to match. It was then that she became fascinated with the art of the perfect red lip or bold smokey eye. It wasn't until high school, while creating a bridal fashion portfolio that she became passionate about enhancing the natural beauty of all faces.
When she graduated high school, Gisella decided to pursue her passions and attended beauty school for cosmetology and Empire Beauty School for makeup artistry.
After years of freelancing, working with multiple salons, spas such as The Red Door, and bridal companies, Gisella decided to continue her education by attending The Makeup Designory in NYC and complete the master's program. The program challenged her in many new, unexpected but exciting ways. It granted her greater knowledge and a stronger sense of confidence to continue devoting herself to the exciting journey of makeup artistry.
Gisella has worked with countless brides and fashion shows including NYC Fashion Week for designer Brandon Sun and charitable events such as the "Fall Into Fashion" event for The Diabetes Research Institute Foundation with designer Max Mara.
Gisella continues to educate herself on past, current and upcoming beauty and fashion trends as well as product knowledge. She endeavors to accommodate the needs of every client to fit their every sense of style and beauty.
